All of our programs promote the development of skating skills while learning in a fun and safe environment.
Our club holds different theme days throughout the season including a Christmas Family Skate and a Year-End Themed Ice Show for skaters to show off the new skills they have learned over the year.
CanSkate is a Skate Canada learn-to-skate program designed for beginners of all ages. Our CanSkate program focuses on basic skill development, fun and participation. Skaters will earn badges and other incentives as they learn fundamental skating skills. Lessons are led by our NCCP certified coaches and assisted by our trained Program Assistants. Skaters are encouraged to progress at their own rate and our coaches strive to make sessions active using teaching aids, music and a wide variety of activities that create a fun environment and promote learning.
Our CanSkate program is held on Monday evening from 6:30-7:15 pm
Parent & Tot is a learn-to-skate program in which parent participation is required on the ice in skates and a helmet. Parent participation is important to help assist the tot through the lessons. This program is held during the same time as CanSkate and focuses on the same basic skill development and fun. Lessons are led by our NCCP certified coach and assisted by our trained Program Assistants. All skaters progress at their own rate and are encouraged to become more independent as the season progresses. Our coach plans each session with teaching aids, music and a variety of activities to help create a fun environment and promote learning.
Our Parent and Tot program is held on Monday evenings from 6:30-7:15 pm
